I recently adopted or fostered an animal. Do you have any additional resource material?

You can find addtional information HERE

What is your adoption fee?

For dogs, $250-$450 depending on the breed, age and medical needs. You will be notified when you apply what the fee for that animal will be.

What is the adoption process?

Step 1. Visit Petfinder to see our available animals.

Step 2. Apply for the animal you are interested in by completing a full application here. If you submit an inquiry, we will ask that you submit an application.

Step 3. A screener will be in touch with you to discuss your application.

Step 4. References will be checked.

Step 5. A meet and greet will take place with you, the animal and any other pets or people who live in your home.

Step 6. You complete an Adoption Agreement and pay the adoption fee.

Step 7. You have saved a life and welcome your new animal to their forever home!

I am interested in fostering. Can you tell me more?

Fostering is a great way to help get dogs and cats out of the shelter quickly so they can decompress in a home while they await their forever family.

When fostering you should be prepared to commit to the animal for as long as it takes to get adopted, which could be a few weeks to a few months.

You should be comfortable transporting the animal to meet and greets with potential adopters as well as to vet visits and adoption events.

We will cover the cost of medical care.

It is important to remember this and be comfortable with the fact that we may not be able to respond to your texts or emails ASAP. We are not "on call" and we work as a team so we appreciate you treating us with the same patience, kindness and respect that you expect in return.

Complete the Foster Application and a team member will contact you!
